A shout-out to long-time friend and an early guest, Garret Ohm, and the risks of being a social media early adopter, including the time we ran a golf charity tournament and gave sleeves of Pro VIs to anyone who checked in on Foursquare! Yep, Jeff, Charlie and Garret were the only ones who walked away with sleeves. Jeff, who earlier in his career worked as a reporter at The Capital newspaper in Annapolis, talks about Tribune Publishing’s decision to close the newspaper’s office/newsroom, forcing reporters to do their work from home, from coffee shops and from their cars. Not good.
